Finding a hotel with a great location can be a challenge, but this hotel is just a short drive from Marseille airport and the center of Mougins. It's the perfect starting point for your adventure. The rooms, although small, have comfortable beds and offer breathtaking views of the mountains. The helpful staff ensure a pleasant stay and the breakfast is delightful. The outdoor areas are great for relaxation and there's even a play area for the kids.
The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved.

Overall very nice hotel and the rooms are decorated well. The quality of food in the restaurant is superb and the location is great, being right on the edge of the gorge and perfectly located for a trip.
The rooms are fairly small and the maintenance of the building perhaps needs updating as there is a lot of noise from animals in the roof / walls. The pool area could do with a bit of an update also.

Fabulous views from terrace.
Bathroom was upstairs, tricky for oldies who have to pay visits in the night.

Loved the beautifully decorated public areas, such as the reception, restaurant, terrace, spa area, and garden. They definitely added a touch of luxury to our stay. Plus, the breakfast offered stunning views and was a great way to start the day. The location was also a highlight, as the drive through the mountains to the Gorge du Verdon was absolutely breathtaking.
There were a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations. the bedroom decoration was quite simple and minimalistic, which was a bit disappointing considering the price we paid for the room.

Fabulous location. Terrific scenery. Good food. Incredibly quiet and very relaxed atmosphere. Staff really helpful - very tolerant of (my) pretty poor attempts at speaking French. Really sorry to leave at end of holiday.
Room was difficult to keep cool at night.

The hotel pool was great to cool off in and the views around were lovely - there was a great breeze to keep you cool as you sunbathed. The terrace for drinks and breakfast was nice. Towels for the pool were provided. The beds were comfortable and the Tournesol Suite was perfect with three bedrooms for the five of us.Good location if you are doing a lot of walking.
The hotel is not overlooking the gorge as the name implied which was a disappointment. It is really an upmarket motel - clean basic rooms but no fridge or air conditioning. The Tournesol Suite is a horror of bright yellow and green sunflowers (however other rooms I glimpsed looked more up to date). The hotel has been totally kitted out from Ikea in a retro 1970's design. The decor aside the biggest disappontment was the front of desk staff - apart from one lovely gentleman the lack of service and unfriendliness considering the price we were paying was shocking. We will not be going back.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The elevated position of the hotel provided us with spectacular views of the surrounding area. The hotel facilities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the nicely decorated public areas such as the reception, restaurant, terrace, spa area. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious with lots of choices available. We also appreciated the different areas designated for drinks, breakfast, and dinner. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, with some notable individuals, including the owner who entertained us with his jokes, the cheerful wine waiter, and Alice who took the time to answer all our queries. In terms of transportation, this hotel is conveniently located to Marseille airport, making it easily accessible.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my vegan wife, even though the menu wasn't vegan friendly. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious. The hotel itself was small and cozy, creating a personal and intimate atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful and serene environment, I highly recommend this hotel.
Almost perfect, just a minor issue. 😊
